RaineyDay Erwin is an artist that works in many disciplines.

She currently is working on a series of fine art multi medium wall hangings.

‘Wordless Scrolls’ are explorations of emotional landscapes explored one letter at a time. Art based on personal emotions, Derived from the graphics of the Alphabet. Driven by words that are concealed, Visualized through mixed medium.

Art is in RaineyDay’s bones. Though born to 2 artists, she thought her path was classical singing. But in her teens she veered to graphic visuals for the fashion industry and never looked back. She went on to design, sell and merchandize shoes, clothes and jewelry.

Though not classically trained, she has always been drawn to sculpture and collage. The collision of found elements formed into wearable or not wearable art is her passion.

The arc of ‘Wordless Scrolls’ is based on the graphics of the alphabet and explores emotional landscapes built on concealed words.

She foresees making this work for the rest of her life.

When the arc is finished, it will be her memoir.
